Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains what happens if you need to cancel or amend a booking made through Banzaara Vacations. The specific terms applicable to your trip are confirmed in writing with your quote and form part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. How to request a cancellation

All cancellation or amendment requests must be made in writing by emailing info@banzaaravacations.com or by calling +91 75359 11599 with your booking reference. Cancellation takes effect from the date we receive your written request.

2. Cancellation of tour / resort packages by you

For tour and resort packages, the following applies to amounts paid to us (less any non-refundable supplier charges and a processing fee):

3. Safari permits — non-refundable

As per Forest Department rules, safari permits once booked are non-refundable and non-amendable, even if the safari is cancelled or missed due to rain, roadblocks, late arrival, or any unforeseen event. This is a government rule and is outside our control.

4. Other non-refundable items

Certain peak-season resort bookings, special event-period rates, canter/Dhikala bookings and government fees are typically non-refundable once confirmed, as they are governed by supplier and Forest Department policies.

5. No-shows & unused services

No refund is provided for no-shows, late arrivals that cause a missed safari, early departures, or any unused portion of a confirmed booking.

6. Cancellation by us

If we have to cancel a confirmed booking due to circumstances within our control, you will receive a full refund of amounts paid to us for the affected services. We are not liable for any other costs you may incur (such as travel to Ramnagar).

7. Force majeure

For cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control — natural events, weather, government action, park closures, strikes, etc. — refunds will follow the policies of the underlying suppliers and the Forest Department. We will assist you in recovering whatever is recoverable, and where possible may offer a credit note or rescheduling instead of a refund.

8. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method, typically within 7–14 business days of confirmation, subject to supplier timelines and your bank's processing time. Any applicable bank or gateway charges may be deducted.

9. Amendments

We will try to accommodate date or itinerary changes subject to availability and supplier terms. Amendments may attract a difference in price and supplier amendment charges. Permit changes are subject to Forest Department rules.
